Just a reminder that the League's Legislative Conference is fast approaching. The date is March 15, 2000. If you have not yet registered for the event, you still have time to do so. SB 193 UTILITY EXCAVATIONS (Blessing) Provides for the establishment and operation of a single, statewide, one-call notification system as a means of preventing or minimizing damage to subsurface facilities as a result of excavations occurring in this state. (5th Hearing - Opponents)

SB 108 ESTATE TAX (Latta) Reduces the estate tax by 36% over five years and phases out the share of the estate tax paid to the state. (3rd Hearing - Proponents)
