ANNEXATION BILL MAY POP OUT OF SENATE COMMITTEE THIS WEEK

Rumor has it that SB 289 is a late entry to the Senate State and Local Government Committee schedule for Wednesday, September 13 (4:00 p.m. - South Hearing Room).

Rumor also has it that the only amendment(s) to be considered relate to the 100% petition process. And guess what! We anticipate that the amendments will not be helpful. These amendments are not available at the time of this bulletin.

Apparently this is a revision being engineered by the Township Association, Senator Cupp and the Homebuilders Association and the Realtors Association.

Let your dissatisfaction with this less than open and last minute consideration of changes to SB 289 be know to the members of the Senate State and Local Government Committee.
