WEB BULLETIN 2/9/01 Call Your Legislators on Local Government Freeze It is extremely important that you contact your legislators of the House and Senate about Governor's Taft proposal to freeze the Local Government Fund, LGF, and the Local Government Revenue Assistance Fund, LGRAF. If the Governor's proposal is adopted, the freeze will cut the figures you relied on to create your 2001 budget. This in turn would in all probability create a funding shortfall. See bulletin No.3 --January 30, 2001. Legislative Luncheon Reminder Just a note to everyone about the OML Legislative Luncheon. The Luncheon will be held on March 14, 2001. The Luncheon will be held in the Statehouse Atrium in Columbus, Ohio. Registration for the event will be at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will begin at noon. The program will end no later than 1:30 p.m. to accommodate the House and Senate Session. This also would be a great opportunity to talk to your legislator about the previously mention freezes on LGF and.
