HJR 7 ECONOMIC GROWTH BOND ISSUE (Redfern) Proposing to enact Section 2a of Article VIII of the Constitution of the State of Ohio to permit the issuance of general obligation bonds to create and preserve jobs, enhance employment and educational opportunities, and promote economic growth through funding research and development and the development of certain sites and facilities and to expand state and local government authority regarding economic development.   (1st Hearing-Sponsor)  

HJR 8    LOCAL INFRASTRUCTURE BONDS  (Redfern)  Proposing to enact Section 2p of Article VIII of the Constitution of the State of Ohio to permit the issuance of general obligation bonds to fund local government public infrastructure capital improvements. (1st Hearing-Sponsor)

House Criminal Justice, (Chr. Latta, 466-8104), Rm. 121, 2:30 p.m.

HB 666 PUBLIC OFFICIAL OFFENSES (Schaffer) To provide that a person's privilege of holding an office of honor, trust, or profit that is forfeited by reason of the person's conviction of a felony is not restored upon the person's completion of a prison term or period of community control sanctions or upon the grant of a conditional pardon or a final release by the adult parole authority.   (1st Hearing-Sponsor)

HB 9 PUBLIC RECORDS LAW  (Oelslager)  To revise the Public Records Law, to create the office of Public Access Counselor in the Court of Claims, to create a library records commission in each public library and a special taxing district records commission in each special taxing district, to allow a concealed carry licensee to prohibit the disclosure of the licensee's information to a journalist, to revise the records commissions laws, and to eliminate the provision that certain records made by a public accountant incident to an audit of a public office or private entity are not public records.   (4th Hearing-All testimony)  

SB 333 ACCIDENT CLEARING  (Schuler)  To permit local law enforcement agencies and fire departments to remove motor vehicles from the roadway after a motor vehicle accident and to provide immunity to local law enforcement agencies and fire personnel for the removal of damaged or inoperable vehicles and roadways.   (2nd Hearing-All testimony)
