Dear Marketing Manager:

Thank you for your inquiry regarding advertising in Cities and Villages, the monthly journal of the Ohio Municipal League. Enclosed you will find two copies of our rate-card/advertising contract and two past issues of Cities and Villages.

Cities and Villages is published six times a year: January/February, March/April, May/June, July/August, September/October, November/December. Each issue is published the first week of the second month of each publication date. Closing date for advertising orders: First day of the first month of each publication date. (for example: March 1 for March/April issue) Closing date for materials: Seven calendar days after the order closing date. Please note the Mechanical Requirements listed on the rate card. Ads which do not comply with our width and depth requirements will be returned to you. We also reserve the right to review all advertisements for accuracy and appropriateness before accepting them for our publication. Ads must be provided to us in an electronic file, or there will be an additional charge. You may e-mail the ad to the OML offices or mail a disc or CD to our offices. In all situations please include a hard copy of the ad for our review.

We believe that the Cities and Villages is a great vehicle for reaching the important Ohio municipal market. The magazine is read by officials who are directly involved in every aspect of municipal management and service. For over 36 years it has helped to keep the leadership of Ohio's cities and villages informed about current developments and the latest techniques for solving municipal problems. Because of our publication's circulation and appeal to a wide range of municipal offices the Cities and Villages is an essential forum for advertisers who would like to compete in Ohio's municipal market.

Thank you for your interest. I hope that you will make the Cities and Villages part of your marketing program.

Sincerely,

Cyndie Grant
Managing Editor
